Jacobabad (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Sohrab Khan Sarki has won PS-2 with 30339 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-2 Jacobabad-II constituency with 30339 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Sayed Nasir Hussain Shah was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35387 votes.
The second runner up was National Peoples Party candidate Ameer Ali Jatoi who got 9117 votes. At least 51 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-2. In 2013 elections, there were 153938 voters registered in PS-2, out of which 73786 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 47 %.
