All Arrangements Finalized To Hold Elections In Peaceful Manner: Spokesman

Spokesman to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Altaf Ahmed Tuesday said that all-out arrangements had been finalized to hold general elections in a peaceful manner in the country.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2018 ) :Spokesman to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Altaf Ahmed Tuesday said that all-out arrangements had been finalized to hold general elections in a peaceful manner in the country.
Talking to a news channel, he said it would be matter of satisfaction for the whole nation after completion of the election process in a smooth way.
He said that the ECP had taken all possible measures to ensure transparency in the elections process.
The Spokesman to a question, said the ECP had prepared a mechanism to check details of contesting candidates through National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and respective Union Council and in case of casualty of any candidate, family of the deceased candidate should have registered their details on the forums to update their information.
