Butcher’s son, orphan clinch top two positions in Matric exams

The top position holder in Lahore Board got a total of 1091 marks.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 21st July, 2018) The result of matriculation exams 2018 have been announced today.

According to media reporters, one of the position holders is an orphan while the other is the son of a butcher. The top position holder in Lahore Board is a student of Ali Public Boys High School, Rehmanpura. He got a total of 1091 marks.

Tauseef Afzal’s father Muhammad Afzal while talking to media said that he is a butcher, his son got all his education through scholarship. He said that he feels proud of his son for clinching the board exams, adding that Tauseef has always been hard working. The father added that he will make all out efforts for higher education of his children.

The second position holder. Waseem Yaseen, is a student of Punjab Danish school for Boys and belongs to Rajanpur district of South Punjab. Waseem’s elder brother Nadeem said that his father passed away 11 years ago. We are four sisters and six brothers. I am a motor mechanic while Waseem is a position holder since fifth class, he added.

Third position holder Hafsa Saleem said that she got this success through the prayers of her parents and teachers. She aims to become a software engineer. Hafsa said that getting a position through hard work and maintaining it is the real success. She was satisfied with former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif’s education policies.

She said that her father has a business of mobile phones.

The passing percentage in Matric exams 2018 has been 77.6%.
