An official circular stated that Deputy Commissioner/DMO Hafiz Shokat Ali imposed fine of Rs 25000 on Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, a PPP candidate of NA-114, Rs 20,000 on Sahibzada Mahboob Sultan candidate of NA-114, Rs 20,000 on Sh. Waqas Akram candidate of NA-115, Rs 20,000 on Chairman Garhmaharaja MC, Rs 10,000 on Sh. Nawaz Akram, Chairman Jhang MC, Rs 5000 each on candidates of NA-116 Asif Moawia and Saima Akhtar Bharwana, Rs 50000 on Ghulam Bibi Bhawana PTI candidate of NA-115, Rs 5000 on Faisal Hayat Jabbuwana candidate for PP-125, Rs 5000 on Zahoor Ahmed Sajid candidate for PP-128, Rs 5000 on Ali Akbar Shah candidate for PP-124, Rs 5000 on Ghulam Ahmed Gadi, candidate for PP-124, Rs.
