I know I am punished and being taken to jail, Nawaz Sharif says in video message

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 13th July, 2018) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has given a message to the people of Pakistan as he is returning to the country today.

Nawaz Sharif has recorded this message from his plane. In his video message, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan is on a decisive turn, I did all I could do. I know I am punished and being taken to jail.

"Stand by me to change the fate of this country. We don’t get such a chance every day," he said.

While posting the video on her Twitter account, Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif has delivered his responsibility, it’s your turn now.

Meanwhile, arrangements are in place to deal with any situation arising out of Nawaz Sharif's arrival in Pakistan.

National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) team and the Punjab Government have made arrangements to maintain law and order.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter are expected to be arrested right from the airport and will be shifted to Adiala Jail.

If any of the PMLN candidates tries to protest the arrest, he will be disqualified through the ECP.

PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif was in London with his daughter Maryam Nawaz. Meanwhile, the wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz also gained a little consciousness on Thursday.

According to Maryam Nawaz, Kulsoom Nawaz has blinked her eyes for the first time in 30 days.

The Accountability Court had announced its verdict in the Avenfield Reference against ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (r) Safdar last Friday.

According to the verdict, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been sentenced to jail for 10 years, his daughter Maryam Nawaz for seven years and Maryam's husband Capt (r) Safdar for one year. Moreover, Nawaz Sharif has been fined £8 million in the case while Maryam Nawaz has been fined £2 million. The London flats will also be confiscated, according to the verdict.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry has put the Names of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz in the Exit Control List (ECL) upon National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request.
