1st time in 30 days, Ami opened eyes for a few secs, tweets Maryam Nawaz
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 12th July, 2018) The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz has blinked her eyes for the first time in 30 days.
This was shared by daughter Maryam Nawaz in a tweet on Thursday.
Maryam Nawaz said that Kulsoom Nawaz is still unconscious and requested for prayers.
“1st time in 30 days,Ami opened eyes for a few secs. Don’t know if she saw or registered us. Still not conscious& on vent. Prayers solicited,” she wrote in her tweet.
According to family sources, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz's health is improving.
The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, was shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) of a London hospital after her condition deteriorated on June 14.
Sources said that Begum Kulsoom collapsed in the ICU after a cardiac arrest, and has not since regained consciousness. She has been kept on ventilator, life-support machine and emergency medicine.
The Sharif family had requested everyone to pray for Kulsoom Nawaz’s health.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are also in London to visit the former first lady. However, they are to return to the country on Friday.
