Coke Studio Explorer reaches Lahore with Instagram-found singer

The fourth episode of Coke Studio Explorer features an artist discovered through social media app Instagram.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 9th July, 2018) Coke Studio Explorer continues to impress us as it discovers the hidden music talent from all the four provinces of the country.

The fourth episode of Coke Studio Explorer features an artist discovered through social media app Instagram.

Mishal Khwaja is a Canada based Pakistani artist who along with Coke Studio producers for the 11th season Zohaib Kazi and Ali Hamza has covered the Lahore chapter of Coke Studio Explorer with her song ‘Tere Bin Soona’.

The song is shot at the iconic Lahore Fort on top of a minaret, overlooking the beautiful Badshahi mosque and the adjacent area.

The producers of Coke Studio Explorer, Zohaib Kazi and Ali Hamza, have certainly done a great job in discovering this talent through social media.

Coke Studio is the biggest and leading music platform in the country and this time, it promises to bring the hidden music talent of Pakistan through Coke Studio Explorer. In a series of Coke Studio Explorer, producers Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi travelled through the country in search of music gems.

This innovative concept by the new producers will surely take the popularity of Coke Studio Pakistan to a new high.

The first song launched by Coke Studio Explorer was ‘Pareek’ featuring Ariana and Amrina of Kalash Valley, Chitral, followed by a Sindhi folklore in Shamu Bai and Vishnu’s soulful voice ‘Faqeera’ and the Balochi art of throat singing through ‘Naseebaya’.
