Saudi Arabia: Govt Raised Fee For Various Categories Of Visas

Riyadh, (Pakistan Point News – 3rd October, 2016) : The Saudi Arabian government has increased fee for various types of visas under the ongoing economic reform. The persons performing Hajj or Umra for the first time will be exempted from the fee. People seeking single entry visas has to pay a fee of 2,000 Riyals which was previously 500 Riyal while foreigners leaving the country has to pay 200 riyals and an additional 100 riyal a month for every month spent outside the Kingdom. The fee for 6-month multiple visa is increased to 3,000 riyals from 500 riyals while fee for 1 year visas will be 1,000 riyals and fee for 2-year multiple visas will be 8,000 riyals. The decision to increase the visa fee is aimed at lessen dependence on the income of oil and it will be implemented from the first of Muharram.
