Coke Studio Explorer launches with ‘Pareek’ release

Coke Studio promises to bring the hidden music talent of Pakistan through Coke Studio Explorer

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 4th July, 2018) Coke Studio is the biggest and leading music platform in the country and this time, it promises to bring the hidden music talent of Pakistan through Coke Studio Explorer.

The first song of Coke Studio Explorer, discovering music stories across Pakistan, has been released. This song ‘Pareek’ features Ariana and Amrina of Kalash Valley, Chitral.

With Pareek, Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi bring a very special story of these two girls from the mountains of the North. Ariana and Amrina’s are just two voices of the 4000 indigenous Kalash people. The Coke Studio Explorer claimed that their chants will take over our senses and leave us wanting more and that proved to be true.

The song was recorded live on location and displays snow-capped mountains in the background with the Ariana-Amrina duo in focus, perfectly describing the beauty of the region and the talent that hails from it.

Just as Pareek was released, people all over social media expressed admiration and support for the song.
