Abu Dhabi Police(ADP), British Council sign Memorandum of Understanding

The General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, and the British Council office in the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding,

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 04th Jul, 2018) The General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, and the British Council office in the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to turn the examination hall at the headquarters of the Missions Administration of the ADP’s Human Resources Sector into an examination centre for students who are studying for their IELTS certificate.

The MoU was signed at the headquarters of ADP General Command by Major General Salem Shaheen Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Human Resources Sector, and Gavin Anderson, Director of the British Council, with the attendance of Brigadier Othman Haji Al Khouri, Director of the Missions Administration, and several officers from the sector, as well as Deep Adhikari, Deputy Director of Regional Examinations for the middle East and North Africa, Kalika Shankar and Amna Khan.

The MoU is part of the efforts of the ADP’s leadership to train their recruits according to the best international standards, in cooperation with leading academic institutions from around the world.

Brigadier Al Khouri said that the examination centre is the first accredited government-level test centre in Abu Dhabi, which will encourage police personnel to attend advanced English courses to improve their academic level.
