Says law should be equal for all
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 3rd July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that he will free all the prisoners if the verdict in Panama Leaks case does not sentence Nawaz Sharif to jail.
According to a news report published in a local newspaper, the PTI chairman has said that he will release all the prisoners if the Panama verdict is announced in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s favour.
The PTI chairman was asked in a program that he might be responsible to implement the decision about Nawaz Sharif. To this, he quoted a Hadith that many nations have been destroyed where there is one law for powerful and the other for the weak.
He said that if he fails to land Nawaz Sharif in jail, he will free all the prisoners. He said that if the big criminals are brought to justice, others will automatically mend their ways.
Regarding his blacklisted friend Zulfi Bukhari he took along to Umrah, he said that he has not made any call for him.
He is currently facing a case in court, he said, and added that the NAB blacklisted a foreign national without even asking him. “If we see this politically, then I think Ahsan Iqbal included his name in the Exit Control List (ECL),” he further said.
He said that Bukhari has not run from the law. Everything will be made clear once the court gives its verdict in his case.
