Five children among injured shifted to hospital
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 29th June, 2018) The roof of a mosque in Model Town Link Road area of Lahore collapsed on Friday.
According to rescue sources, at least eight persons, including five children, were injured as they come under the rubble of the wall.
Rescue teams reached the site of the mosque. The injured have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
The mosque was crowded as people had gathered there for Friday prayers.
Meanwhile, pre-monsoon rains hit Lahore this week. The city has been receiving heavy rains since Wednesday. Twenty to 50 mililitre rain has been recorded in Lahore. Several casualties have also been reported due to accidents caused due to rains.
