Five killed as chartered plane crashes in Mumbai

The plane crashed in a densely populated area but in an under-construction site

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 28th June, 2018) At least four persons were killed as a chartered plane was destroyed after crash landing in Mumbai.

According to Indian media, a chartered aircraft has crashed in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area at around 1.30pm today killing five including a passerby.

The plane caught fire immediately after it crashed. Television channels showed the plane engulfed in fire.

The plane reportedly crashed in a densely populated area, but in an under-construction site.

Fire brigades and ambulances have been rushed to the spot. Rescue operations are underway and the pilot is believed to be stuck inside the aircraft.

The cause of accident is yet to be ascertained.
