Election Commission Of Pakistan Not To Compromise On Violation Of Code Of Conduct: REC

The Regional Election Commissioner Hyderabad Aijaz Anwar Chohan has said Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would not compromise on violation of code of conduct set for General Elections 2018.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2018 ) :The Regional Election Commissioner Hyderabad Aijaz Anwar Chohan has said Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would not compromise on violation of code of conduct set for General Elections 2018.
He said this while presiding over a meeting here on Monday which reviewed the arrangements of holding of general elections 2018.
The meeting, which was attended among others by the Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Aslam Soomro, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Adeel Chandio and other officers of the lined departments, reviewed at length the security arrangements, implementation of the ECP code of Conduct upon the political parties and participating candidates as well as the nominations of election agents and polling agents of the candidates.
The Regional Election Commissioner emphasized upon the officers of all concerned departments to ensure the implementation of the code of conduct as well as foolproof security arrangements in order to ensure holding the general elections in free, fair and impartial manner under smooth security cover.
