Modern scanners installed at airports to curb drug trafficking

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News – 1st October, 2016) : Anti-Narcotics Force has installed modern scanners at major airports of the country to curb drugs trafficking. According to the details, scanners have been installed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore and Jinnah International Airport Karachi. The body scanners resemble walk-through-gates, which will make it possible to detect any suspicious object including drugs or ingested material, concealed under fabrics. These scanners have been manufactured by a British company and donated by Government of Saudi Arabia.
