Arrhan Singh has legal notice to Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli for shaming him on social media.
Mumbai (Pakistan Point News – 25th June, 2018) The man who was schooled by Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for littering on road has sent a legal notice to the actress and her husband Virat Kohli for shaming him on social media.
An Indian news agency reported Arhhan Singh as saying, “My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr Virat Kohli and Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli. As the ball is in their court, no comments now. As in all fairness, I should await their response.”
Arhhan’s mother also confirmed that they had sent a notice to the couple but did not give more details. His lawyer Veena Advani said that while there was much to say for Arhhan who was “publicly condemned” after the incident, they would wait for the “true spirit of sportsmanship” from Virat and Anushka now that they have been served the notice.
Anushka’s spokesperson said that their legal team was perusing the matter.
Anushka Sharma schooled one Arhhan Singh for littering on the streets of Mumbai last week and the entire incident was posted on Instagram and Twitter by Virat Kohli.
The cricketer wrote in a post, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness."
In the video, Anushka could be heard asking Arhhan Singh seated in the backseat of his car, "Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Don't throw garbage on the road. Please be careful."
An agitated Anushka then finishes with, "Use a dustbin".
Arhhan also reciprocated on Virat's Instagram post and hit back at Anushka for 'ranting and yelling like a crazy roadside person' and Virat's 'trashy mind' for posting the video online
“I have no desire to gain any mileage from this post of mine… Horrible! So I happened to carelessly Litter a sq mm of plastic while driving! A car passing by rolls their window down and there we have our wonderful Anushka Sharma ranting and yelling like a crazy roadside person! While I’m apologetic for my carelessness, Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli a little etiquette and politeness in your dialogue wouldn’t have made u a lesser star! There are all kinds of manners and hygiene, verbal etiquette is one of them!” Arrhan said.
“The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my "luxury car" was way less than the garbage that came out from your mouth, from your "luxury car's" window. Or the trashy mind Virat Kohli to shoot and post this online. For whatever gains. Now that’s some serious trash!” he added.
Meanwhile, the controversy divided the social media over Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s activism against garbage on the streets of Mumbai.
