Extension in Rangers deployment approved in Lahore

The Punjab government has given approval for extension in deployment of Rangers in the province for 60 days.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2018 ) :The Punjab government has given approval for extension in deployment of Rangers in the province for 60 days.

The summary of extension in deployment of Rangers would be sent to Interior Ministry for final approval.

Under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 Rangers were deployed in Punjab to carry out joint intelligence based operations (IBOs) inspecified areas.
