NCEMA discusses cooperation with Panama

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2018) Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosani, Director-General of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, NCEMA, today discussed, in his office in Abu Dhabi, ways of promoting joint cooperation, exchanging expertise and creating partnerships in managing emergencies, crises and disasters with Rolando L?pez, Executive Secretary of the National Security Council of Panama, and his delegation.

The meeting, which was attended by Eduardo Fonseca Ward, Ambassador of Panama to the UAE, discussed the emergency management systems of both countries and their methods of facing emergencies, crises and disasters, as well as exchanging information on policies and the latest practices and expertise.

L?pez praised the UAE’s overall achievements, including in the areas of security, safety and managing emergencies, crises and disasters, while expressing his government’s keenness to exchange relevant expertise and opinions, to raise his country’s overall readiness to successfully deal with emergencies and crises.

Juan Carlos Varela, President of Panama, visited the UAE at the start of the current year, when he discussed, with the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ways of promoting successful economic and investment partnerships that will benefit all parties, as well as the means of creating new communication channels between various sectors in both countries, especially in the areas of commerce, investment, culture and tourism.
