Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) Monitoring Centre Intercepts 336 Suspicious Persons

The Kasur's Operations Monitoring Centre (OMC) of the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) secured 1,704 observations that warranted interception of more than 336 suspicious persons and screening of 112 vehicles by Mohafiz Force during the month of May
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2018 ) :The Kasur's Operations Monitoring Centre (OMC) of the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) secured 1,704 observations that warranted interception of more than 336 suspicious persons and screening of 112 vehicles by Mohafiz Force during the month of May.
The OMC employed state-of-the-art CCTV surveillance operations through the geo-strategic grid of cameras within the city. On violations of the traffic laws and felonies of wrong parking, 269 tickets were issued in the month of May.
However, political rallies and protests were also monitored and security measures were taken.
In a bid to serve E-Data requests by the Punjab Police and other law-enforcement agencies (LEAs), Kasur IC3 provided Electronic Evidence Data pertaining to five heinous crime cases and investigations.
In coordination with the tehsil municipal administration (TMA) and Punjab Police, PSCA Kasur foiled 84 bids of illegal land occupation and issued 142 warning notices to the other accessories of the crime.
The Kasur project got into its strides following the launch of IC3 Lahore, whereas six more Integrated Command Control and Communication Centres, under the aegis of Punjab Safe Cities Authority, were ensuring rapid construction and developments in six divisions of Punjab namely Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Multan and Bahawalpur.
