4th Councillors Convention To Be Held In Manchester Tomorrow

The High Commission for Pakistan, London and Consulate General of Pakistan, Manchester will be hosting the "Fourth Councillors Convention-2018" on Saturday, June 23 at Manchester.
LONDON, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2018 ) :The High Commission for Pakistan, London and Consulate General of Pakistan, Manchester will be hosting the "Fourth Councillors Convention-2018" on Saturday, June 23 at Manchester.
According to a statement issued by the High Commission here Friday, the theme of the event will be Celebrating Diversity & Multiculturism in Northwest UK.
A large number of MPs, MEPs, Mayors, Councillors and community members are expected to attend.
Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK will inaugurate the Convention. A number of MPs and MEPs will share their views about the valuable contributions of British Pakistani community in Northwest UK.
The Convention will have two sessions where the panelists will speak about empowering the British Pakistani youth and women and how the British Pakistani community can play an active role as a catalyst for socio-economic development, of Pakistan and the UK. The sessions will be followed by Q&A.
The purpose of this initiative is to strengthen the bonds within the Pakistani community in the United Kingdom and to celebrate their success in various walks of life. The Convention will provide a common platform to the elected leadership of the British Pakistanis in the Northwest UK to exchange views and discuss ideas for the betterment of the Pakistani diaspora.
