16 Militants Killed, 11 Injured In Afghanistan

At least 16 militants were killed and 11 others injured during artillery shelling and airstrikes carried out by the Afghan armed forces in the vicinity of Sayad district in northern Sari Pul province of Afghanistan, the state-run Khama Press reported.
AMMAN, June 21(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :At least 16 militants were killed and 11 others injured during artillery shelling and airstrikes carried out by the Afghan armed forces in the vicinity of Sayad district in northern Sari Pul province of Afghanistan, the state-run Khama Press reported.
A statement released by the Afghan Ministry of Defence said that the recent artillery shelling and airstrikes killed at least 16 militants and injured 11 others.
Following the strike, Afghan army seized five motorcycles, some weapons and ammunition, the statement added.
