Tributes Paid To London Graffiti Artists Killed By Train

London, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2018 ) :Tributes were paid Tuesday to three young men who were hit by a train while spraying graffiti in London.

The bodies of Harrison Scott-Hood and Jack Gilbert, both 23, and 19-year-old Alberto Fresneda Carrasco were found on the tracks near a south London station on Monday.

New York-born Carrasco, a Spanish-US dual national, had been due to start studying graphic design at the London College of Communication in September.

"With great pain we have received the news of the death of our son," his parents said in a statement.

"The three were hit by a train when they were painting graffiti late at night and in a particularly dangerous place.

"His absence has left a deep hole in the family." Flowers and spray cans were left at Loughborough Junction station, while messages were left on social media, with many reading "Rest In Paint" alongside images of each one's stylised signature 'tag' on trains and walls.

Police superintendent Matthew Allingham said their injuries were consistent with being hit by a train.

"There isn't a sort of safe refuge up there so if somebody was on those tracks there wouldn't be anywhere for them to go to avoid the train," he explained.

"They really wouldn't have had much option." Scott-Hood's parents said in a statement: "We are completely heartbroken by the loss of our only son.

"Many people will know Harrison loved to travel, he was a beautiful artist and spent time recently travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia.

"He is irreplaceable and we will hold the memories of him dearly."
