Nomination Papers' Scrutiny Process Completed

The Returning Officers (ROs) of five districts of Karachi on Tuesday completed the scrutiny process of nomination papers filed by the candidates for National and Provincial assemblies seats.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2018 ) :The Returning Officers (ROs) of five districts of Karachi on Tuesday completed the scrutiny process of nomination papers filed by the candidates for National and Provincial assemblies seats.
The Provincial Election Commission- Sindh, sources said that the nomination papers of PTI Chairman Imran Khan's NA-243 (Karachi) were accepted after the RO dismissed the objections against his candidacy.
The nomination papers of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were accepted for NA-246 (Karachi).
The nomination papers of Dr.Farooq Sattar of Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) for NA-245 (Karachi) were rejected while nomination papers of Nasreen Jalil were approved for NA-247 Karachi.
The appeals against the decisions of ROs can be filed by June 22, which will be decided by June 27.
