Lahore High Court Tribunal Dismisses Two Appeals Against ROs Decision

An election appellate tribunal of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday dismissed appeals filed by two candidates against rejection of their nomination papers by the returning officers (ROs).

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :An election appellate tribunal of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday dismissed appeals filed by two candidates against rejection of their nomination papers by the returning officers (ROs).

The tribunal comprising Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh heard the appeals filed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) candidate Faiz Mehmood from NA-137 and Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Shah Zaid from NA-127.

Both candidates had challenged the rejection of their nomination papers by the returning officers.

However, the tribunal after hearing detailed arguments upheld the returning officers decisions and dismissed their appeals.
