Woman Social Activist Shot Dead In Dera Ghazi Khan

A local social worker, poetess and ex-chairperson of Muttahida Baloch Women Wing Asia Ali Khan was allegedly shot dead by two persons in Kot Chuttha police precincts.

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) : A local social worker, poetess and ex-chairperson of Muttahida Baloch Women Wing Asia Ali Khan was allegedly shot dead by two persons in Kot Chuttha police precincts.

According to police sources, Asia Ali was going to Multan when two persons, Sabir and Asif, intercepted the van she was travelling in.

They asked her to get out of the van and shot her dead.

A few months back, Asia's young sister, Aqsa, went missing. She got registered a case against some of her relatives with Kot Chuthha police station.

Last year, the social worker had also sustained bullet injuries in an attack. Her alleged killers are stated to be her relatives.

Kot Chuthha police have registered a case and started investigation.
