We look forward to a successful working arrangement in the years ahead as the federation continues to promote the UAE as one of the leading destinations for sports in the region and globally."

Triathlon is a multiple-stage competition involving the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines. While many variations of the sport exist, triathlon, in its most popular form, involves swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances. Triathlons have increased in popularity in the UAE in recent years.

In 2017, more than 300 children competed in the junior level ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi, more than double the number of participants from the inaugural 2015 event.
