New Dehli, (Pakistan Point News – 30th September, 2016) : The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) temporarily imposed ban on Pakistani artists and technical staff during the annual general meeting of the association today. IMPPA passed a resolution according to which any of the Pakistani artist, technician or singer will not be hire in Indian Film Project till the relations between Pakistan and India are ok. IMPPA president TP Aggarwal told local media that this decision was taken in the on the demand of all the producers. Henceforth, till the situation is ok between the Pakistani and Indian governments, nobody will hire any Pakistani artist, technician or singer. The AGM at IMPPA House in Mumbai was attended by more than 200 film producers.
