Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrated With Religious Zeal In Karachi

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2018 ) :Like other parts of the country, Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in the Sindh metropolis with religious zeal and fervor on Saturday.

President Mamnoon Hussain offered Namaz-e-Eid at the State Guest House.

The main Eid congregation held here at Bagh-e-Jinnah where Governor Sindh Muhammad Zobair, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhter, high ranking officials, dignities and a large number of people offered Eid prayer.

Eid congregations were also held at Nishtar Park, Eidgah Nazimabad, National Stadium, New Memon Mosque, and many other Eidgahs and open places of the city.

The Ulema in their sermons highlighted the significance and philosophy of Eid-ul-Fitr.

On the occasion, 'Dua' for the peace, development and prosperity was also offered.

After the Eid prayer people exchanged Eid greetings with each others.

Extra-ordinary security arrangements were made to avert any untoward incident. No untoward incident was reported from any part of the city.
