The Dubai Islamic Bank, DIB, has donated Zakat money worth AED10 million to the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, which will be distributed to eligible people during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 06th Jun, 2018) The Dubai Islamic Bank, DIB, has donated Zakat money worth AED10 million to the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, which will be distributed to eligible people during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Abdulrazaq Al Abdullah, Chairman of Community Services Department at the DIB, presented the donation cheque to Rashid Hamad Al Hamar, Director-General of the Foundation.
Al Abdullah highlighted the DIB’s desire to support the charity work of regulated national charity and humanitarian foundations, as they are experienced in exploring the needs of poor and needy people, whether UAE citizens or residents.
He added that since its establishment in 1975, the DIB has been keen to distribute Zakat during the Holy Month of Ramadan, as part of its humanitarian role in alleviating the suffering of the needy people.
