PTI demands Reham Khan to take back her book's content within 24 hours

PTI spokesperson demands Election Commission to take a notice on the book and ban it

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th June, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry has demanded Reham Khan to take back the contents of her book within 24 hours.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the PTI leader said there has been a show on social media for three days. tv anchors asked her a couple of times if she denies these allegations or not but she did not say anything.

“It’s been three years since she took a divorce from Imran Khan. Why the content of the book is being shared only 60 days before election? This hints to pre-poll rigging,” he said.

“I demand Reham khan to take back the contents of her book within 24 hours,” he said.

The PTI leader also demanded Election Commission to take a notice on the book and ban it.

The PTI spokesperson said that Reham’s upcoming book “has been facilitated by the Haqqani network”. He also said that the book’s material is inappropriate and should be banned.

“No woman can even think of getting her young adult children to edit the sort of material that this book contains,” he added.

Turning his target towards Sharif family, the PTI leader said we know how the Raiwind mafia operates.

“Nawaz, Shehbaz and company who claimed adding 11,000MW electricity to the system, I think they have taken it back with them. Nawaz Sharif should start his election campaign with an apology, he said, and added that Shehbaz Sharif had asked to change his name if he does not fulfill his claims. Shehbaz Sharif’s name should now be changed to Shabana or whatever,” he said.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan has written a book which is likely to be published before elections. However, the yet-to-be-published book has been making a lot of chatter lately for what Reham has written inside it about ex-husband Imran Khan.

The leaked manuscript of Reham’s book has sparked a debate on mainstream and social media because of the allegations made against Imran Khan and his close aides in the book. The book will possibly have some implications for the party during elections.

Meanwhile, the PTI members are also hitting back at Reham, claiming that she is working on PMLN’s agenda before elections. They have alleged her of taking money from PMLN and getting a bullet proof car from Shehbaz Sharif after her divorce with Imran.

On Monday, Reham Khan received defamation notices by ex-husband Ijaz ur Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, Imran’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa outgoing chief minister Parvez Khattak, PTI’s Hamza Ali Abbasi, Asad Umar, Murad Saeed, Anila Khawaja and four others for publishing ‘defamatory and malicious’ content in her upcoming autobiography.
