Shehbaz Expresses Gratitude Over Release Of Funds For OLMT

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2016 ) : Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that provision of another instalment of Rs 3.630 billion for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project was a proof of the confidence of Chinese government in the Pakistan government.

In a statement, he thanked the Chinese government and leadership for releasing a new instalment for the fabulous Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project. He was of the opinion that release of new instalment reflects full confidence of China in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as well as Punjab government.

Shehbaz Sharif said some opponents continued to launch baseless propaganda against this splendid welfare project. He said another instalment was a lesson for those opposing public welfare project like OLMT. He said completion of Orange Line Metro Train project would usher in a new era of friendship between Pakistan and China besides revolutionize the transport sector.
