PIA Brought Home 14,000 Pilgrims, Post-Hajj Operation Underway

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News – 27th September, 2016) : Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully brought 14,000 pilgrims home after completing 30% percent of its post-Hajj operation on Tuesday, September 27. According to the airline’s spokesman Danyal Gilani, PIA aims to bring approximately 52,000 pilgrims home during the post-Hajj operation. He added more that the remaining 92 flights planned for the post-Hajj operations will be completed by the 16th of October. Gilani said that during the pre-Hajj operation PIA transported over 51,000 pilgrims from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan operating 268 flights.
