3-day Polio Drive Starts In Balochistan

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Sep,2016) : A three day anti-polio campaign Monday kicked off in Balochistan amid tight security. The Provincial Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) Coordinator, Syed Faisal Ahmed has said that 2,475,389 children of under the age of five years would be administrated anti-polio drops during the campaign.
He said that as many as 6647 teams including 5182 mobile teams, 860 fixed site facilitation points and 605 transit points were engaged administering vaccine drops to the children. He urged the citizens including Ulema, parents, tribal elders and other social activists to cooperate with polio teams for administering the anti-polio drops to their children to save them from crippling disease.
