Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has notified for the interest of its students that it follows the working timings, set by the Cabinet Division, during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2018) : Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has notified for the interest of its students that it follows the working timings, set by the Cabinet Division, during the Holy month of Ramadan. As per the notification issued here, the University's timing from Monday to Thursday is 8 am to 12.15 pm and on Friday 8 am to 12 noon. The students may contact the University during these timings for any academic support or seeking any information relating to their educational program.

Meanwhile, it has been clarified that tutor forms, being circulated by the social media, has nothing to do with the University. Whenever, the University will need tutors, it will place the relevant information at its own official website. According to another notification, the University has issued merit list of the selected candidates for admission in MS, M.Phil and Ph.D programs for spring, 2018 semester. They have been communicated about their admission at their postal addresses.

The list has also been placed at the University's website. According to Director Admissions, the prescribed admission-criteria were strictly followed, as per the directives of the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui. The selected candidates have been advised to deposit requisite fee at the earliest. The merit-based programs offered in current semester includes: Ph.D, MS/M.Phil/M.Sc (Honors), COL )Commonwealth of Learning) MBA/MPA, BS Programs, M.Sc (Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Sociology, Microbiology, Mass Communication, Sustainable Environmental Design, Environmental Sciences and Botany.
