Negotiations between PTI and 22 PMLN lawmakers are underway in this regard
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 11th May, 2018) Following the inclusion of South Punjab Mahaz into Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the party is now having negotiations with 22 other Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leaders.
Some political changes are expected in the future as according to a news report published in a local newspaper, 22 more PMLN leaders are going to join PTI.
Negotiations between PTI and 22 PMLN lawmakers are underway in this regard. They can announce their joining in the PTI any moment. These include over 12 Members of the National Assembly and 10 of Punjab Assembly.
Sources said that Zulfiqar Khosa, Aashiq Gopang, Riaz Pirzada, Jafar Laghari, Sahibzada Faizul Hassan, Rao Ajmal, Sardar Mumtaz Khan, Sheikh Akram, Rajab Ali Baloch, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Malik Uzair Khan, Armaghan Subhani and Najaf Abbas Siyal are holding talks with PTI’s senior leadership. These PMLN leaders can join PTI any moment.
Sources further said that over 10 lawmakers belong to South Punjab. PTI is in contact with South Punjab leadership. However, the Names of the MPAs cannot be revealed as requested. The task to bring South Punjab Mahaz into PTI was given to Fawad Chaudhry and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The PTI leaders said that electables will keep joining the party until the election schedule is announced.
PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that South Punjab will prove to be a stronghold of PTI. The strong political families of PTI have joined them while other leaders are also being contacted.
