The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a two-day international conference on "The role of Islamic universities in inculcation and promulgation of Aqidha and its impact at the unity of Muslim Ummah"

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2018) : The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a two-day international conference on "The role of Islamic universities in inculcation and promulgation of Aqidha and its impact at the unity of Muslim Ummah". The conference arranged by Faculty of Usuluddin of the IIUI, was attended by Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki, IIUI President, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, experts of the topic, academicians, diplomats, heads of international organizations, media representatives and researchers.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of KSA Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki said that role of the international Islamic universities was vital in Muslim world. He said that KSA was keen to disseminate islam's true message of peace and the kingdom will be among leading ranks to cooperate with universities of Muslim world. Dr. Al-Draiweesh said in his speech said that IIUI was omen of Muslim unity as it represents almost all the Muslim Countries of the world through students and faculty members.

He added the theme of the conference was important as it would discuss the most important topic relevant to the Muslim societies. The event was also addressed by Dr. Mohammed Abdo Aten, Regional Director of the Muslim World League who appreciated the moot and said it was an important activity to bring Muslim scholars and experts to a platform to devise future strategies. Earlier, Dean of the Faculty of Usuluddin, Dr. Haroon ur Rashid welcomed the guests and apprised them about the roles and objectives of the conference.
