Dera Ismail Khan, (Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2018) : Two forest guards were injured after attacked by timber mafia here on Thursday. Police said that the forest guards tried to stop the four-member timber mafia engaged in cutting trees from the state owned forest near Gomal CRBC Bridge in Dera Ismail Khan. The timber mafia attacked the forest guards with axes and also opened fire at them with pistol critically injuring Malik Mubbashir Ahmad and Ahsan Absar and fled the scene. The injured forest guards were shifted to hospital for treatment and the police after registering a case against the four-member timber mafia have started raids for their arrest.
