Congo Virus Patient In Peshawar

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -24th Sep,2016) : Another patient of Congo virus Saturday died in provincial capital, spokesperson of local hospital confirmed. Talking to APP, spokesperson of the Hayatabad Medical Complex Tuheed confirmed the death of another patient of Cango Virus.

She disclosed that 45-year-old Sadiqur Rahman was admitted in Hayatabad Medical Complex on September 21 for Congo virus treatment and was treated in special ward but was expired early morning. The patient was admitted in the last stage while another admitted patient, who was in the second stage, is now stable and was discharged, she said.

She said the Doctors have also confirmed Congo virus disease in Sadiqur Rahman. Eight patients are being treated in Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. Two of the patients belong to Afghanistan, one Khyber Agency, one Bajaur Agency and three hailing from Bannu while Sadiqur Rehman was hailing from Peshawar, he added.
