Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2018) : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that a God hearing, strong and honest leadership is required to build Pakistan the citadel of islam according to the vision of the Quaid e Azam and Allama Iqbal and the MMA alone could provide such leadership. He was talking to the media outside the Parliament House here after attending the Senate session on Thursday. Sirajul Haq, who is also vice president of the MMA, said that during the last seventy years, the nation had seen military rulers as also political dictators in the guise of democracy but the problems of the nation continued to multiply.
He said that at present, the political parties which had been in power so far were in the dock before the nation. The so-called national leadership that had been plundering public money and transferring the same to banks abroad had been fully exposed. The JI chief said that the agents of the international establishment who had been in power, had put the country's future at stake. The rulers who betrayed the country's ideology lost half of the country but did not allow a true Islamic government here even for a single day as required by the constitution.
He said that at present, the MMA was the true alternate leadership which truly represented the two hundred million people of Pakistan. He said that all the parties in the field had been tested and tried and the individuals changing parties ahead of the elections could not mislead the masses any more. Sirajul Haq was confident that the MMA public meeting at the historic Minar e Pakistan on May thirteen would truly demonstrate national unity and harmony and knock down the idols of sectarianism, ethnicity and regionalism and the entire nation would be marching towards the true Pakistan as envisioned by the founding fathers.
