Hong Kong, Shanghai stocks close lower

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -23rd Sep,2016) - Hong Kong shares ended Friday with a loss following a recent rally that was fuelled by the Federal Reserve's decision not to hike interest rates.

The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.31 percent, or 73.

32 points, to close at 23,686.48. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.28 percent, or 8.41 points, to 3,033.90 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.50 percent, or 10.04 points, to 2,008.12.
