Karachi, (Pakistan Point News – 23rd September, 2016) : A 3-day Urs celebration of the famous ‘sufi’ saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi has began today at his shrine. Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) was an eighth century Muslim mystic and is one of the Greatest and Famous Sufi saint. Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) belonged to the 4th generation of Hazrat Amir ul Momineen Hazrat Ali Karam Allahu Wajhu, the 4th caliph of islam and son in law of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) migrated from Arab to Karachi area only for the great cause of Islam. The famous sufi’s Urs celebrations have started at his shrine in Clifton. Governor Sindh Doctor Ishratul Ibad inaugurated the ‘Urs’ celebrations and offered Fateha. Strict security measures were taken for the occasion. Earlier the celebrations, the shrine was sealed and security officials swept the shrine for security clearance. The shrine was washed early in the morning. Thousands of devotees are expected to visit the shrine. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will be the chief guest at concluding ceremony of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s Urs.
