Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Leader Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that the masses would even vote for the shadow of Khawaja Asif, who is declared disqualified by the Islamabad High Court today for possessing an Iqama and foreign job.
Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2018) : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Leader Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that the masses would even vote for the shadow of Khawaja Asif, who is declared disqualified by the Islamabad High Court today for possessing an Iqama and foreign job. In a message posted on twitter, Maryam Nawaz said that the one who they could not contest on political grounds is declared disqualified in fixed matches. "But remember, masses would now even vote for the shade of Khawaja Asif," she said.
The message from Maryam Nawaz came after foreign Minister Khawaja Asif was declared disqualified by Islamabad High Court in a case filed by PTI leader Usman Khawaja. After the apex court decision on Article 62 (1) F, the disqualification of the foreign minister will be for lifetime. The larger bench of IHC headed by Athar Minallah along with Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani announced the verdict today as the notice in this connection was issued for all concern parties.
