ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2016 ) : Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir Thursday hailed Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for effectively presenting Pakistan's stance on Kashmir issue during his address to the United Nations General Assembly.
The Minister, while talking to APP said at all international forums, Pakistan was already exposing the Indian armed forces atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and the Prime Minister highlighted the right to self-determination of the Kashmiris.
He said Pakistan had a clear stance that without the resolution of Kashmir issue, sustainable peace was not possible in the region.
Barjees said the recent attack on Indian army headquarters in Uri was an Indian plot to divert the attention of world community from its state terrorism in the occupied valley.
It was an attempt by India to defame the struggle of Kashmiris. Pakistan would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris, he said. The minister said the situation in held Kashmir had deteriorated due to India's cruel and barbaric acts, and abuse of human rights. The occupation forces had been massacring innocent Kashmiris, he added.
