Art and Literary Society (QIRTAS) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organized All Pakistan Poetry Competition
LAHORE (Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) Art and Literary Society (QIRTAS) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organized All Pakistan poetry Competition. In which UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and renowned poets from all over the Pakistan including Zahid Shamsi, Ms Hameeda Shaheen, Fareeha Naqvi, Wajid Meer, Yasmin Bukhari, Ali Zaryon, Ammar Iqbal were present while a large number of students from different universities of Pakistan participated in these contests.
Government Collage University of Faisalabad was the winner of all contests. In Bait Bazi contest, University of Agriculture Faisalabad won 1st position and Government Collage University of Faisalabad got 2nd position. In urdu Nazam contest, Lahore collage for Woman University won 1st position. In English Poem contest, University of Management and Technology won 1st positions, University of Engineering and Technology Kala Shah Kaku Campus got 2nd position. UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf along with Ali Zaryon distributed journal trophy and shields among the winner of the contest.
