QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -22nd Sept,2016) : Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan leader Mir Shamshad lauded Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for presenting a clear stance of Pakistan on the Kashmir dispute and other important issues including relations with Afghanistan in his speech at the UN General Assembly.
The prime minister had apprised the world of Indian atrocities and brutalities in the occupied Kashmir, Mir Shamshad, who is also Assistant Coordinator to Chief Minister Balochistan, said while talking to APP.
He said the prime minister had exposed the ugly face of India narrating that how thousands of people in Indian Held Kashmir had become victims of Indian troops guns. Nawaz Sharif had made it clear that the international community would have to play its due role for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
The United Nations should fulfill its responsibility by getting its resolutions on the issue implemented by India, he added.
The prime minister, he said, had also offered India to come to the negotiating table to resolve all the issues.
He said the Afghan government should also accept Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's offer, which he made during his speech at the UN General Assembly, if it was sincere for restoration of durable peace in the region.
The Afghan government must not become a puppet of India which was using it against Pakistan, he added. He said the prime minister took a wise decision by telling the General Assembly that Pakistan was ready to talk on Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.
He said Pakistan had been fighting the menace of terrorism. The world should fully support Pakistan as hundreds of thousands of personnel of its security forces were fighting terrorists, he added.
