ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -21st Sept,2016) : Eid week is always considered to be the most celebrated time of the year for a Blockbuster film release in the country, amid house full expectations.
The healthy trend on this Eid is that the audience have endorsed Pakistani Urdu films. The Urdu films Actor-in-law, Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai and Janaan, are running full house during and after the Eid holidays in whatever space and time is allotted to them.
Movie-goers can choose between urdu movies Janaan, Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai and Actor-in-law, Punjabi flick Lal Badsha and three Pashto project Titled Badmashi Ba Mane, Ghulaam and Badmashi Na Manum.
A student Aleezay Inaam said that," I watched Actor-in-law with my friends and its was really entertaining, The film have all the elements of a social comedy.
Coming to cinemas is always a special charm, during eid holidays i didn't get booking." This time demand of Pakistani Producers and Directors is fulfilled that only Pakistani movies should be released on Eid-ul-Azha.
A youngster Ali Manaan said," I always prefer to watch Pakistani movies. On this Eid there is good choice of Pakistani movies. I am planning to watch Janaan on weekend." In traditional single screen cinemas, tickets are issued manually so it was nearly impossible to estimate total business generated form a film in such cinema.
However, with the arrival of multiplexes which maintain the records of tickets sold, now a near estimate of the film total business is easily established.
