Hats off to the budding talent of Swat Science festival!

The young scientists from Swat presented their highly innovative projects as a solution to many problems of the country

Swat (Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2018) In its fist, the Swat Science Festival has left its mark on the history of the Valley for what was once a war torn region, is now showcasing young talent eager to build a more prosperous Pakistan with their vision. The young scientists from Swat presented their highly innovative projects as a solution to many problems of the country, including energy, transport, environment and what not. The festival began two days ago and concluded today, Thursday. With special coverage from media outlets and much appreciation from Twitterati, the students of Swat were much adored and encouraged for their ideas. Some are calling it as Malala Yousafzai’s dream come true as she was shot at for promoting education in the Valley and today, the Valley itself has become a hub of budding talent while others are calling it a hope for the future.

Malala herself is very proud of the students:

Defeating guns and picking up pens:

Cars are always the favorite:

It's hot and we have a desi air-conditioner:

Energy conservation and street lights:

Robots, drones and aircrafts:

For an environment-friendly Swat:

A water filtration plant for clean water:

It is surely heartening to see all these young brains contributing towards the growth of science and technology in Pakistan as the country lags much behind in these areas. Fighting terrorism, fighting extremism and fighting conservatism, these young students have come forth with a development plan, promising a bright future for the country. However, what they need in return is our love, support and funds of course. For now, we salute these young brains and wish them all the best in building a country where education and technology surpass everything and are a parameter to judge talent instead of nepotism or regional prejudices.
