25 more PMLN lawmakers to quit party, minister reveals

Rana Sanaullah criticizes South Punjab deserters but forgets that he himself came from PPP: Hamid Mir

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2018) Renowned journalist Hamid Mir while talking on a tv program has said that there are three to four such Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leaders about whom even the party leadership knows that they have deviated. They have to announce yet. “I talked to a loyal PMLN minister three days ago and he told me that 25 more PMLN MNAs are going to quit the party and majority of them belongs to Central and North Punjab,” he said. “There is another impression that the people of South Punjab join the party that is going to win. However, the reality is different. Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah criticized them but he forgot that he himself came from Pakistan People’s Party. When Benazir Bhutto gave a ticket to Zahid Sarfraz, angry Rana Sana joined PMLN,” he further said. Recalling Nawaz Sharif’s history, Mir said, “Where has Nawaz Sharif come from? He had first asked for a ticket from Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) when Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani refused him from joining the party. Sharif kept running after Mustafa Khar and later joined Tehreek-e-Istaqlal. Finally, he joined Junejo’s Muslim League and then formed his own party PMLN.” To know more what Mir said, watch the following video:
