Election Analysis: Which party to bag majority in four provinces?

PTI to get two-third majority in the next elections, predicts columnist

Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2018) Renowned columnist Mansoor Afaq has written in his column that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will win with a two-third majority in the next elections. Some successful independent candidates will also join PTI. However, there is a possibility that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will form a coalition government in Sindh. The PPP is not expected to win a single seat from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) while PMLN’s allies will get it defeated there.

PTI’s opposition vote will be divided so it will not have any difficulty winning in KP. In Balochistan too, PMLN and PPP do not stand a chance. The Senate chairman elected with PTI’s support is bound to help the candidates backed by the party. Moreover, PTI will win in Karachi and Thar areas of Sindh unexpectedly. Arbab Ghulam Rahim can join PTI any moment while it is not possible to defeat Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Umer Kot. It is also confirmed that the ‘prisoners’ of Lahore cannot get independence from any party other than PTI.
