Says being prime minister to remain Shehbaz Sharif’s pipe dream, Ch Nisar also acting on Shehbaz's advice
Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2018) The former secretary of Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif’s wife Tehmina Durrani, Zubair Mahmood have made important revelations. According to media reports, Mahmood said that Shehbaz Sharif’s dream to become prime minister will not be fulfilled. “Shehbaz did not want Maryam Nawaz to take the lead. Chauhdry Nisar Ali Khan and Durrani had advised Shehbaz to resign but he said that he will make his way through back channel,” he said.
Mahmood revealed that Shehbaz had received the questionnaire before he appeared before the JIT. “Ch Nisar and Shehbaz used to meet frequently. Over a dozen of their meetings were held at Durrani’s place and she used to share the details of the meetings with me. Madam Durrani asked to save all these messages and conversations to write a book ten years later. But I was pretty quick, the book will be published in four months. I wrote in it whatever I knew and saw. I have the conversations, phone calls and text messages with Durrani saved,” he further said. He added that Ch Nisar’s opposition to the party is also planned. Ch Nisar is only acting on Shehbaz’s advice.
